There’s no delineation between the poor and the rich in the afterlife. But to survive in this materialistic world, we need the money to buy the things we need and the food we eat to live. A salesclerk was imprisoned lately because she stole the food she ate when she was hungry. Hunger is a basic need to satisfy but stealing is a crime that must be punished. Letting go of the criminal will give a precedence for others to follow while punishing her will give a lesson to everyone that the means doesn’t justify the end. Beg instead of steal. Ask no matter what the outcome is.
