Misunderstanding is just a common thing among family members. And as a family, we are supposed to kiss and make up each time things will go wrong beyond our control. But who will make the move? Is it the younger one who is not responsible for the rift or the older one who oftentimes will commit the mistake? I still remember when my mother was still alive, she told us that whether it’s the younger or the older one who committed the mistake, it’s the younger one who has the responsibility to say sorry. And a colleague of mine, who happened to be a famous cardiologist and the younger one, told me that such is a big mistake taught by parents to their children. Older ones will tend to manipulate the younger ones because of this and my friend is just so glad that he’s a better person now because of what he experienced but he strongly disagree to this.
